LOL. Did they change the console for 01? In my 850 and V70, at the bottom of the "felt" lined console is a small rectangular hole - just large enough to get a flat screwdriver in and pry up.
My colsole is not large enough to put a CD in. When you get back to the dealer, as him about where the adjustment screw is.
Borton Volvo only gives me 15% off parts. But, you are right... no waiting for the UPS truck to arrive. And I am not about to quibble over $5.
