I agree with that analysis. I do believe though that the hard-top '98 coupe is as good as the same year S70 (basically the same car), if you like that styling. The early rag tops are having trouble with the upper canvas wearing out now. I love however the newer retracting hard-top C70's. From '99-'01 they suffer from the same ETM issues as their V, XC and S counter parts.
