Lack of service records! The 850s need to have regular tranny flushes (automatic), so check the fluid color - red is too clean, black is dead. The AC evaporator only lasts for about 10 years or less and takes 15 hours of labor to replace. The heater core is less than 4 hours. The rear main engine seal requires the tranny to be dropped.
At around 125K miles, expect to do new ball joints and engine mounts and a front axle or two.
The best 850 will have a 5 speed.
