You said "IPD has new intercooler hoses (pipes) which look interesting, they reversed the air flow and shortened the plumbing by over 12inches."

These "new" hoses return the car to a design that gave some Volvos problems with intercoolers freezing up. Volvo reversed the hoses many years ago to help this problem. These IPD hoses not recommended for cold climates. Shame on IPD for not mentioning this.
