I replaced mine recently. A helpful hint would be to park the car in the Sun so that the dash is warmed up - it'll be easier to peel up and away. Also, the IPD instructions that accompanied my gear said to use a little Vaseline. I believe other greases would be detrimental to the plastic...I'm not sure.
