Hi Klaus,
Thanks so much for your reply!
I tried moving the fan switch to the center but the clutch still didn't kick in. I know this problem is going to turn out to be something simple....just need to find the source. Are there any relays or sensors I should be checking? What else would cause the A/C not to run? I know the evaporator is okay because my mechanic checked that. He thinks the compressor is fine too. He's a great mechanic but only works on the weekends. I figured if I could troubleshoot this problem, he wouldn't have to waste all his time searching and we could get this A/C running. Let me know if there is anything else I can check out that could be a problem.
I found the outside temp sensor. I'm going to have this replaced because my digital temp on the dash reads the wrong temp sometimes. Can this stop the A/C from working? It's not always wrong but it does give wrong temp readouts.
Thanks, again, for your reply. I know by all the posts I've read on this forum that you know your stuff!!!!
