Diagnostic - PCV Valve? S70 1998

It's too bad you didn't write down the code number so we know what the shop teacher knows. Most autoparts stores will read you codes for free.
If it is gross evap leak, then it is probably the gas cap. And that code will go away after about 6 starts or so. If it the evap valve, then you are looking at an expensive part.
The PCV, if your car even has one, doesn't generate a code.
