And if you throw more money at it without a definitive answer, you will waste even more.
There is a vacuum line from the charcoal canister, through a check valve, and into the intake manifold. If that vacuum line has a hole, it is an easy fix. If it is the check valve, then it is expensive.
A dealer will charge you for diagnosing the problem. A very good independent VOLVO mechanic will be more reasonable.
