A faulty IAC will usually present itself as an idle that hunts around, sticks high, sticks low, but not as a rough idle.
The upper thrust arm bushing is a piece of cake to install but getting it out can be a bit of a pain. I have always just shot the out towards the driver's side with an air chisle with a simple round bit, shoots them right out of there. I would imagine you could probably do the same thing with a simple hammer and punch. Installing the two piece urethane bushing really needs no instruction.
