Yep, it is pretty much the opposite of ABS. The control unit monitors the individual wheel speeds and keeps them constant by either removing fluid from the caliper and allowing the wheel to spin instead of locking up (ABS) or by increasing pressure in the caliper to slow the spinning wheel (TRACS). It is really pretty simple in design.
