2000 S80 as replacement for my 95 850 - S80

last year I traded in my 850 glt 2.0 for a 1999 2.4 s80, both have the n.a. 5 cyl engine, the 2.0 gave incredible mpg but lacked mid range punch , whereas the 2.4 averages about 8 -10 mpg less but has a lot more mid range, I know its the least powerfull of the s8o's but it excelerates great around 60 - 70 for overtaking,I've not done any work on the s80 yet but there seems to be a lot more space in the engine bay than the 850, Ive found the handling of the s80 not as taught as the 850, far more relaxed ( which suites my advanced years )its the electronics of the s80 that gives it its bad name, they do seem very tempermently if you read the threads ( not mine yet , touch wood )so overall I'm really pleased with the s80
