Keep.

A quality re-spray will cost from $5K-10K depending on the amount of prep necessary and your market.

You need to keep a coat of wax or other breathable protectant on the paint at all times! Clear coat is simply paint without pigment and will oxidize just like the color coat.

Your best check is to look at other cars which have been re-sprayed by the shop you are considering.
