Window won't go up 850 1995

I had the same issue with my 1994 Volvo 850. If you take out the center console and pull out the master window control you can take it apart. My issue was that inside of it, the switch works with a bearing and a litle metal piece. That little metal piece for some reason was arcing and had black deposits on it from constantly being zapped. I ended up having to replace the control because I could never get it to stay good. You could try some electrical contact cleaner on it?
