Strut Noise S70

I'll answer my own questions. I put the questions out on justanswer.com and chatted with a Volvo mechanic. He said it sounded like a broken spring seat. I pulled the strut apart today and found the metal insert in the seat had broken loose and spun wearing out the inside of the spring seat. This allowed movement between the spring, seat, and strut creating the squeaks and moans coming from under the right side of the car. $9.00 for justanswer.com was well wurth it for me and all who may find their answer in this post.
