Hmmmm. The AC condenser was replaced (radiator looking thing). Then the engine fan comes on whenever it get wet. You are correct, it is probably not the relay on the fan shroud.
It could be the wiring behind the right headlight. One of the wires from the compressor is wired to a thermostat, which shuts off the AC if the compressor gets too hot.
There is also a high pressure sensor for the AC, and if that gets too high, the AC shuts off and the fan turns on.
