Hmmm. Pouring over nearly 40K of service records on my 2000 S70 AWD. If we all have lemons, then I guess that replacing the battery once, bulbs twice ,wiper blades twice, and a sunroof issue constitutes a bad purchase and expensive maintenance? Oh, and the drive is fun, seats are great, options are good, and safety is a factor. I'm not saying that there aren't problem cars, and I'm not saying i wouldn't be upset if i had one, but "all or mostly lemons"? No. If I wanted the most reliable car, i would have bought something like a Camry, and would have been terribly bored. If i wanted to spend more on maintenance I would have bought a Mercedes. Go to boards like these and you'll find complaints and issues. That's the nature of these things(which is fine). It's the way Volvo reportedly handles complaints that's disturbing.
