Does the Bilsteins affect ride quality? (more) 850 1995

Billy, does the bilsteins affect ride quality? The ride in my '95 850 Turbo is already pretty rough, I hate to make it any worse regardless of the handling improvement. I swear it didn't used to be like this when new. I wonder if I have bad bushings or the like. The car doesn't absorb bumps at all. I have 49k miles on it with 205/50-16 tires. I recently changed from Bridgestone S-02 to Nitto 450 and the ride improved a little. I did lose the sharp steering responsiveness and traction as the result.
