AC questions 850

So I attempted to fill the system w/ more refrigerant and none seemed to go in. The gauge is measuring around 70 psi.

I don't think the compressor is coming on. I tried to jump the sensor on the low pressure line but it didn't do anything. Both the high and low pressure lines feel really warm, definitely now cooling action whatsoever.

Any suggestions to trouble shoot getting the compressor to work?
