The odometer gear is a common problem until 1998, when it went electronic. It is easy enough to remove the instrument cluster and look for a broken plastic tooth.

The ABS module R&R is also easy and Victor does a very good job. You can drive the car without the ABS module, there just won't be a working speedometer while the unit is out of the car.
