Ananda, IPD made sure to keep the boost at or under 10 psi. They stated that this boost was very safe and should cause no excessive wear with proper maintenance. By the way my V70R came with a stock setting of only 1.5 psi before blow off. That was one the reasons they asked if I wanted to adjust the wastegate.
