It's simply called DEFENSIVE driving, an acquired skill apparently.
OK, I've been rear ended by others at slower speeds about 3-4 times while at a stop in the last 30 years.
.......basically, I keep a keen eye on others around me and drive sober, no phone in hand, not typing on my laptop or reading a book whilst driving either.
I'd hardly buy a car to "upgrade" for safety reasons in itself. On that logic, one would then prefer a Ford F350 or better yet, a tank if one was that paranoid on everyone elses poor driving habits, right?
