You want to be careful here. Our 94 odometer stopped working completely insturment cluster replaced by the Volvo dealer. It took a couple of months for the new one to arrive with the mileage pre-set by Volvo. We recently traded the car only to get a phone call a week later saying the car could not be sold by them because it did not have "true mileage". We traded across the street from the Volvo dealership. We ended up buying our Volvo back and selling the new car privately. (My wife liked her old Volvo better and its paid for.)
