Vladimir,

Your're right, they did take away power in 99 and give it back in 00. I allways wondered why the variable valve timing didn't make any difference on horsepower (although I did notice a jump in torque from 162 lbs/ft to 170). I also forgot about the de-tuned 10 valve version they sold here in Canada for a while starting in (I believe) 95. I don't think you had it in the US. Thanks for keeping me honest.
