Sometimes dealers "borrow" parts from unsold units to get a customer going when they don't have the needed parts in stock, then when the parts arrive, they reinstall in the donor car. Often this is done internally and no records are kept. Remove the radio and take it to the dealer and have them get the code from the radio serial number, not the VIN number of the car. It's also possible the data base is simply incorrect. If the serial number based radio code still won't work, you may need to replace it.
