They do.. It's called the T4 :)
You guys get rid of the silly EPA/DOT rules and you'll get it too :)
It is probably a lot easier these days to convert the US Phase-II 1.9T to T4 spec though as the engine-size is now the same (both 1948cc).
You 'just' need to lower the compression a bit, change the turbo compressor trim and use a different ECU map to give you 14PSI in stock trim or crank it up to 18PSI rightaway. (with a bigger downpipe, exhaust, etc. etc..)
Gearbox should be OK with the power, although the gearing may be off a little compared to a 'real' T4.
Now.. Who feels adventurous and swaps the AW slushbox out for an M56 manual :)
