Not rocket science, but not a cake walk either. The subframe must be lowered some to get the rack out. The worst part of the job is getting the fluid lines disconected/conected, and the steering column attachment is tricky to get back on. If the car is on a hoist, not too bad, but jacked up on jack stands would be a real pain. If and when you replacew it, it is recomended to replace the subframe bolts. They are "torque to yield" and should not be re-used. Also, it's easier to maneuver the fluid lines if all mounting brackets are removed first. There's 1 back by the rack, and 1 up front by the subframe. Also, crow foot wrenches, and stubby open end wrenches make loosening/tightening the lines a lot easier.
