Adam, the clutch in your car is hydraulic, so no linkages, rather break fluid. It may need bleeding, though hr's theory also sounds viable if the feeling is more mechanical. I'd be interested in knowing if indeed there is an alternative spring for the clutch pedal. I am not 100% happy with mine, though it seems smooth enough (difficult to describe clutch feeling with words).
