Was thinking the same thing myself about the t-belt failure. A chance to get the motor cleaned out. I do drive sporty half the time. Probably why my red block 740 wagon runs better at 215k that when I stole it at 122k. And I've done the t-belt twice so far on it. Cams where clean a couple months age when I did the valve cover gasket. Anyhow I figure if I can pull off the s70 I'll be pretty knowledgeable about the modern Volvo workhorse. And I do wonder if I should be working on these cars for a living. There's a kinetic vibe when you're turning bolts on them. Time to go clean the gunk out of the block...
