If you have an "INFO" switch, then you should be able to display the following:

Average MPH since reset
Current MPG
MPG since reset
Outside Temperature
Miles since reset
Miles Until Out of Gas

Can you see that menu of data names in the display, shown in two columns of three?

I would first check the switch. The data originate in the ECU, so you may assume that it is being correctly produced, just not displayed. Since you can read the time and outside temp, the display itself does not appear to be the problem.
