Thanks Klaus..it seems like it *should* work, but there's always something. Thanks for clearing that up. I like the idea of the 5 speed trans in the '97 too, but I've yet to see the car, and the engine swap may still be the best way to go. Time will tell.

BTW, I accidentally punched the 'thumbs down' instead of the 'thumbs up', but of course I meant the positive.

I appreciate the help, it really has been help!
