Glad to see your post, it confirmed my suspicion. The hard starting problem have happened to me 3 times in the past 2 years. Everytime, it was the start, drive a few feet, stop situation. I always go for a 0.5 mile drive around the block before shutting it down now. Kind of make you wonder what is the minimum time or distance one should let the car run before shutting it down. They should put this in the owner's manual.
