Window works fine; rattle is the only problem (right now), but is getting worse. Interestingly, rattle disappears when window is down (a 2006 V70 posting describes this symptom).I have reviewed several postings regarding rattling noises from passenger side window. Some identify the window guide as the likely cause.

I have no problem removing the door panel but there I am stumped. Does the fix require removing the window regulator? The access hole covered by the black plastic cover does not appear to allow sufficient access to the guide.

It sounds like a common problem yet I cannot find a step-by-step guide to removing an replacing the guide. I would appreciate suggestions from anyone who has completed this repair. Thanks
