The PTC nipple is part of the air intake tube, just before the turbo. Use a flashlight to see better.
I found that a very small screwdriver and throttle body cleaner do a lot of good. Just be careful, the plastic is brittle and if you break it it will cost you a lot to replace it.
When replacing the oil separator box, you really need to replace the hoses that connect to it. Hose clamps, not the screw type sold at hardware stores, can be reused. I would spend the extra bucks for an OEM intake gasket.
