Two small rectangular boxes hang off the front edge of the large computer box on the right hand fender. Labled A & B, pull the cover up and off of the A box. In the lid is a prob, just stick the prob into hole #7 with the key in posII and the engine off.

None of your 240s is 1990 or newer? The 1990-1993 240's came with diagnostic boxes.

Check the tranny fluid for color or smell, the tranny dipstick is on the driver's side with a yellow handle. If it smells burned, you will need a new tranny soon.
