Window Binding 850 1993

The passenger side window on my 93 850 isn't all that smooth going up and down. It seems to studder, like it's binding. It seems like something needs to be lubricated. What can I do to lubricate or fix it? I'm affraid to spray the track with silicone or WD-40 for fear it will get even more sticky.
