Actually you would most likely use the firmest setting on the rear and medium on the front when at the track. It generates quicker weight transfer on the rear tires, which gives a more oversteer-like response (transient only, steady-state is a product of springs and sway-bars).

The Koni's I have on my other car have a knob you rotate to increase/decrease rebound (2 turns max to min). I have seen Koni's that have three adjustable spring perch settings.
