OK, I guess no one has ever had to replace half-shafts on an S-60 before.

Not sure how I lucked-out getting the only one with a possibly bad axle (though the warning of a torn boot to the prior owner I uncovered doubtless has something to do with it).

I will try to take some pictures as I do the job, and will post the procedure hereabouts somewhere in case one day another S-60 owner needs to replace an axle.
