I am having the same issue on my '05 S40. I went out of town last weekend and while driving on the highway the temp would drop ~30-40 degrees. Not sure if it's related, but when this started happening my A/C also started to go out. I have to turn the A/C off for a few minutes, then back on to get it to work.

It is very strange. Any thoughts?
