If they seem like even wear, then that would be odd. Even with the bad struts you should see cupping or some kind of uneven wear, not just extreme wear. My guess there would be highly over-inflated then under inflated throughout the life of the tire.
When you bought the car the tires all matched on wear? Do you have a receipt from the previous owner because if the tire wears that fast it should be covered under warranty. Though it would be smart to fix the struts and such before you take it in, don't want to incorrectly wear the new tires..
