Brickboard changed 850

Negative regarding Google. Brickboard is a home grown system written by a Twin Cities Volvo nut who just happens to be a computer programmer for a large corporation. Several years ago, he tried using Google Search but it didn't work very well. He has since changed the search so that it stays on the Brickboard and does not go to the WWW for answers like so many other sites.

I have Windows XP and have no problems. There are rare times when the Brickboard has operating problems and the cookies need to be deleted, but that has only happened to me 2 or 3 times in the past 7 years.

Yes, this site has "old" code and the format is not liked by many because of the visible format. But, if you use the 'search' box on the right hand side of the index page rather than the top box, the search parameters will stay within the general catagory rather than the entire site.

As to your gas filler door solenoid, it sounds to me like your drains being plugged allowed water to cascade down the inside of the fender and causing the contacts to be corroded. Just unplugging/replugging them would have been enough to allow current to flow again. Fixing the drains was the real solution.

Now, take off the cowling under the windshield and clean all of the dirt out of the drains above the firewall, add a cabin air filter, and you should be good to go.
