I agree, definitely do not want the rear main seal to blow. I learned it the hard way at 100k or so. Cost nearly $900 to have a shop replace the less than $5 seal. I did not want to pull the engine to get to it, no time. I too got the same kit when my 850 hit around 160k. Felt it would be much better to replace the entire kit early is time!
