Re: performance advice S40-V40 2001

Yeap, I have done this before to my old 87 GTA 350cid, sure it made more power, also made my engine run hotter. I wouldn't go jumping into anything you can't put back, i.e punching out the cat section or anything. You might be up for a rude awakening when that Bright Check Engine light comes on! I would rather cut out that section put a pipe there, try it out, if problems pop up just replaced it with the cat section. Wield it, clamp it, bolt it. I happend to come across your web site a few days ago, any S40 owner is a welcome site. It's hard to find good performance parts for this car in the US. Has anyone purchased anything from CoyoteMotorSports????http://www.coyotemotorsports.com/html/V40.html

Coyote: I just don't trust them yet.

Ipd: Done business with them, no problems.

Pes-Tuning: Heard of other people purchasing stuff from them, they also respond to emails unlike Coyote.

Other US based S/V40s parts? None that I know of...
