Thanks for your reply ,when I took the belt off I did rotate it 90 and back again,my trouble is lining up the rear cam to the correct spot, I lined the marks up with the timing marks, it idles ok,but you have to wait forever for it to rev over 4000 rpms and I've lost 3 miles per gallon,I can't find anyone to tell me how many teeth there is from cam center to cam center, why,i know that 19 teeth and20 teeth are wrong, let me ask you this, when you rotate the motor 90 degrees and back again to remove the belt, do you rotate the crank back about a half tooth so when you install the belt your marks line up when you take the slack out of the drive side so you can then use the tentionor to adjust the belt on the water pump side?
