The 50 series tires were a no cost option on some models (ie, My T5). Many dealers offered and even pushed people back to the 55 series because they didn't want people coming back with bent rims. I personally LOVE my 50 series and went to extreme lengths to keep them when I bought new tires this month.

Most important thing is, as Dave said, 4 matched tires.
