Air pump running after warm up, perhaps

Is your air pump the same as the 850s? I'm not sure if its just limited to our 850s, but they all make a low pitched banging hum while they're on. I don't think you could confuse them with a turbine. My IAC makes a ticking noise. The only thing that could sound like a turbine to me is the engine fan. Perhaps the radiator/condensor have some plugged holes making the air rush through at a faster velocity making the noise?
