Engine temperature too low 850 1995

I have a 854T with IPD chip and exhaust. My car normally shows the engine temperature needle at hour 3 (horizontal), but for the last week or so it has been running at hour 4:30 (about 1/3" above the bottom mark). This has never happened before, and the weather is not too cold. What is going on?
