This is an intermittent problem which i know makes it hard to diagnose. Tranny upshifts and downshifts during acceleration. I had the tranny checked around 6 months ago and no problems were found. Technician ran numerous checks which cost numerous dollars and could find nothing wrong. However problem seemed to correct itself. About 1 week ago problem returned. While driving at freeway speeds, car misses like it is running out of fuel, once this happens, tranny starts shifting up and down. It is now doing it at low speeds. When i press on the accelerator hard it seems to correct the problem. I do not think it is a tranny problem. Reading your q & a, i believe it may be the throttle sensor switch or maybe the fuel injectors. If i am not giving enough information, please let me know. Thank you very much for your help.
