He's right about the trans fluid but wrong about the T-belt.

That T-belt gets NO adjustment ever (not part of a 60K mile service) as it's got an automatic belt tensioner BUT its to be REPLACED (not adjusted) at the 70K mile service. Do not skip that T-belt replacement then because if it breaks later on (from neglect, failure to replace the belt), valves will hit pistons and that's very expensive to fix.

The T-belt replacement info (plus other required maintenance) is listed in the owners manual as well.
