Klaus,

I used to have a 86 740 and the fan motor went out on it; reading the threads here led me to find a replacement that was GM, and it worked fine. Wondering if there is a similar "other brand" replacement motor that would work in a 97 850. Mine fan is currently fine, quiet, and works strong, however I'm always forward looking when it comes to maintenance or comfort failure.
