Brake lines frozen 850 1996

What did you use for a wrench? Don't use and 2nd rate tools.
I just went through that misery with my ex wife's
Honda CRV (Don't ask why I'm working on her car).
I had to put a 6 point box wrench on the bleeder fitting and tap it carefully with a medium hammer. With my fingers crossed. It finally came free when I wire brushed it and gave it some never seez so it will be docile next time.

Channel locks don't sound like my first choice. Plenty of PB spray or mystery oil
soak, then vise grips and the tap with a hammer act. Get someone to rub the beads for you. and/or have new brake hoses ready.

If the bleeder screw is free you can drain the brake fluid and put heat to the
brake hose fitting to the brake line. It should turn OK after heating.
Then do a new brake hose with the new caliper (Not a bad idea anyway.)
Flushing the brake fluid is also a good idea every few years or so.
